Each person writes their own memories, can add a photo, and submits a story when ready. Their drafts stay private.

A few things you might be wondering
Who can see a story before it is ready?
Each person’s drafts stay private. You see a story only when they submit it. If they make changes later, you continue to see the submitted version until they submit those changes too.
Do I choose what goes into the book?
Yes. You choose which submitted stories to include and arrange them into sections. Submitting a story does not guarantee it will be included. You can ask someone for changes, but you do not rewrite their words. Each included story keeps its contributor’s name.
Can everyone read the stories and download the book?
Contributors see their own contributions, not everyone else’s stories. As the organiser, you create and download the PDF, then share the downloaded file with whomever you choose. Contributors do not automatically receive the final book.
Will I receive a printed book?
You receive a digital book as a downloadable PDF. Printing, binding and delivery are not included. You can arrange printing separately if you want a physical copy.
How do contributor places work?
Contributor places last for the book’s lifetime and do not reset each year. If you contribute your own stories, you use one of those places. A person who has submitted a story continues to count even if you remove them. Removing contributors does not give you unlimited new places.
When do our 12 months begin?
Your 12 months start when you open story collection, or automatically 30 days after payment.
Will I be charged again automatically?
Renew manually if you want another year. There is no automatic annual charge. Unused story places expire at the end of each purchased year. Each payment covers one book. Contributor places do not reset when you renew.
Does an early renewal or upgrade give us more stories now?
No. An early renewal or upgrade adds a future period after your existing access ends. It does not increase the current year’s story allowance immediately. If access has already expired, the renewed year starts when your purchase is processed.
What happens if I do not renew?
Story collection ends. You then have 30 days to revise already submitted stories and finish the book, including creating PDFs. New stories cannot be submitted during this time. Afterwards, the book becomes read-only. Reading and existing PDF downloads remain available while the book and account access remain valid; new PDFs cannot be created after the finishing period.
What happens to stories if a contributor deletes their account?
Contributors must agree that submitted stories, names and photos can be kept in the book. Those submitted contributions can remain even if the contributor deletes their account.
What happens to book access if a purchase is fully refunded?
A full refund of any purchased year ends access to the whole book. This explains what happens after a refund, rather than promising refund eligibility. Contact support about your purchase; the guarantees for other Learn About Me products do not automatically apply to Through Our Eyes.
How is this different from Tribute?
Tribute brings together guided contributions, messages and photos for a digital keepsake and shared reveal. Through Our Eyes lets people submit their own credited stories for you to choose and arrange into a digital book, with 12-month access for that book. The products are purchased separately.
